Mayfair Lagoon Resort Bhubaneswar – To experience eastern hospitality, I decided to stay at the Mayfair Lagoon Resort in Bhubaneswar. With its unique designs, architectural style and accent on ecology, the hotel is class apart in terms of its sheer splendor, brilliance and aesthetics. I was truly delighted with the enriching experience offered by the hotel.
After a well spent day exploring the wildlife diaries of Lipa Asrang Sanctuary, I was very much content. I knew there are more places which I wanted to explore in Kinnaur, and so I decided to stay back. I quickly took the help of a local guide and booked a nice budget hotel.
The hotel was small but it had enough amenities to make my stay comfortable. However, I couldn’t forget my stay at Toshali Royal View Resort, Shimla. This resort was one of the best getaways after a hectic and long journey. Located at the center of Shimla, Chail and Kufri, this resort is amidst the beautiful nature, enveloped in lush greenery. The best part is that it’s away from the crowded city and offers the best amenities for utter relaxation.
As soon as I entered the resort I was greeted cordially by the staff. The room was well equipped with amenities. My room had large window panes and as soon as I peeped out of my window I could see the beautiful valley. I really felt like I was resting in the lap of nature which made my stay unforgettable. As soon as I was all settled in the resort, I decided to explore it. The resort was a perfect package for an enjoyable stay which included a swimming pool, health club, sauna bath, gaming room and also a discotheque.
Most importantly, the feature that caught my eye was that the resort provided adventurous activities like mountain trekking and biking along with sightseeing. I was more interested in mountain trekking and so I made a booking right away. Then I went ahead enjoyed some foot tapping music at the discotheque and enjoyed the mouth watering cuisine at the restaurant.
So, the plan for the next morning was fixed and as planned I woke up early. I took a quick dip in the swimming pool and went for a nice morning walk and believe me it was truly refreshing. I then went for the much awaited adventure – the trekking. It was so revitalizing and gave me the prefect adrenaline rush which I was waiting for a long time.
Hotel Marina Shimla : My work demand took me to the beautiful city of Shimla. I got a chance to stay at the luxurious Hotel Marina located amidst the lush green landscape of Shimla. The eye-striking hotel made me curious to know about it more and in the process I got to know that it was considered as one of the most prestigious hotels during the British rule. Being a Civil engineer, I could see clearly that the renovation has been done in contemporary style keeping the charm intact. This hotel has well-equipped rooms with exclusive facilities. It has multi-cuisines restaurants, banquet halls, and many more.
Le Meridien Kochi Kerala : I went for an official trip to Kerala. I was stunned to see the architectural beauty like Le Meridien at Kochi. They offered an excellent stay and I particularly liked the variety of North Indian dishes they offered. A vacation to Kerala cannot be complete without an Ayurveda therapy. I experienced ultimate relaxation at the spa center here.
Kumarakom Kottayam Kerala : Even a spec at the Gods Own Country is beautiful in appearance. I wanted to explore the eventual exquisiteness of this place and after a research came to Kumarakom Kottayam. This little village on the Vembanad Lake side offered views of plenty of flora and bird varieties. It was the most colorful vacation ever in my life.
Hello friends, after a long gap, I am writing this blog post to share one of my travel sojourns. I got a break from my work for a few days, so I decided to make the most of it by planning a short trip somewhere. There were many places that were in my mind. This time I planned to travel somewhere in the South. Kerala, the God’s own country, was the first place that came to my mind. I have always seen some amazing pictures and videos of the place on television but never had the opportunity to visit the place, so I decided to make the most of it right now by exploring it.
I planned all my travel and booked the flight tickets. There are many good websites and travel apps on my mobile, which I used this time to avail Kerala flight hotel offers. I booked air tickets from Bhubaneswar to Trivandrum. There were no direct flights as such between the two cities so I had to travel on two routes. My first flight was from the Biju Patnaik Airport, Bhubaneswar to the Thiruvananthpuram Airport.
The flight was scheduled to depart at 9 in the morning. I left for the airport at 6:30 AM because it was about half an hour drive from home. The check in and baggage formalities were easily completed and soon I was ready to board the Air India Airlines flight. No doubt, Air India is a popular name in the aviation sector in the country. The staff was friendly and the entertainment system in flight was also good.
The flight reached Mumbai in 2:30 hours. My next flight was from Mumbai to Trivandrum and there was 2 hour break in between which I utilized to have some coffee and light snacks at the Mumbai airport.
The Mumbai to Trivandrum flight was a 2-hour short flight in which I shortlisted a few places and things to do at the airport. The excitement started to build up in me. The flight landed at Trivandrum at 3 PM and I headed straight to my hotel, Palm leaves Beach Resort, Trivandrum, which I had booked in advance.
While planning a trip to Hyderabad along with my friends, I, after booking my train tickets, finally decided to look through the stay options available in the city. Going through numerous reviews and suggestions.
I finally decided to stay at Vishal Prakhruthi Resorts Hyderabad this time. So all packed up, we boarded the train from Bhubaneswar at around 8:30 in the morning and comfortably reached Hyderabad in around two days’ time. As soon as we reached Hyderabad we were surprised to find the moderate climate as well as a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We hired a taxi for the resort and reached there around 10 a.m
We were astounded to find in that the resort was situated in a very beautiful landscape surrounded by greenery everywhere. As we moved to the resort, we found out the resort design to be ethnic as well as at the same time, a bit contemporary.
Upon entering, we experienced a positive aura from the place, and the staffs were humble enough to ask us what we would want for in our breakfast. We ordered some of the vegetarian food as we were informed that it was surely worth a try. Then we moved into our rooms and found it clean as well as very well maintained. From the window, we could see the clean swimming pool and were pretty much excited to find out that the place also had lawns and space available for recreational activities as well as sports.
Asking from the hotel staff, we found that the number of tourist places was nearby for example The Charminar, Prudvith Nivas Park, etc.
We asked for the hotel staff to help us get a cab and in no time we found a cab waiting at the resort gate. We were happy that we made this choice and enjoyed our trip to Hyderabad.
The hospitality offered by the restaurant, their service and the room they offered was A-class. We would surely come again to this resort in case we decided to visit Hyderabad.
