Being a civil engineer by profession I get numerous opportunities to visit a variety of places, even those located at the remotes parts of the country. I have great interest in travelling and due to my need to ravel on a frequent basis I generally prefer budget travel via trains or buses and made flight hotel booking for Pune. Pune has a sound historical background. The name has been derived from “Punyanagri” that refers to a city of virtue. It has a couple of marvels, temples and forts that portray the architectural heritage of its past rulers. In the early 17th century Pune was the headquarters of the great ruler Shivaji and hence its architecture depicts the culture of the Shivaji dynasty.

Apart from its archaeological treasures Pune is a very cosmopolitan and lively city as it is one of the main educational and commercial hubs of the country. There are a lot of affordable coffee bars and night clubs in the city where one can hang out with friends. Several music and art festivals are also hosted in the city quite often.
As I planned my trip to Pune I wanted to make sure that my stay there was quite comfortable and could fit my budget as well. I opted for a stay cum travel package that suited my requirements best. Although I prefer travelling by train but for those who wish to travel via airways have to face no difficulties in doing so.

As Pune is a city that is flooded with tourists and students as well as travelers for business purposes most of the renowned hotels can be booked before hand by the online booking option on their websites. As I had already made arrangements for my travel and accommodation I was quite excited to explore the city now and was hoping my stay there to be a knowledgeable and wonderful experience.
